「擁抱大地」的春夏裝系列，完全跳脫天然染給人色系單一、樸素風的既定印象。

柔和的綠波粹取自宜蘭的金棗；但藍色水痕，猶如獨一無二的大理石紋。

縫紮藍染技藝，傾向個人特質表現的工藝，無法複製亦無法取代。

De quoi sommes nous faits ?

La connaissance est la fontaine qui abreuve notre esprit.

Le  défigurement nous rappelle de chérir la vérité et la beauté enfouies dans les

lieux les plus indésirables.

Dans le vide, l’incommensurable peut être contenu.

L’erreur est l’une des étapes les plus importantes sur le chemin de la réussite.

Dans ce monde protégé par la poussière, rempli de matière nous devons nous

consacrer à ajouter notre clarté pour flotter au dessus du courant.

Les pensées sont les lueurs fragiles et minuscules que nous allumons l’une après

l’autre.

Puissions-nous chacun illuminer chaque personne que nous rencontrons d’un

éclat et d’une joie infinie.

History

I come from a big family, and one of my earliest childhood memories is the touch and sight if my aunties’ skirts around me. My love for clothing grew from this early seed.

Doing crafts and playing with fabrics played a big part in my childhood. And my first qualification was a technical college diploma in architecture. To please my parents, my second qualification was a BSc degree in pharmacy.

After a few years of discontentment and lack of interest in my profession as a pharmacist. I decided to follow my true calling - fashion. My knowledge of the prevailing of fashion trends at that time and the appeal of French culture let me to Paris to chase my dream and realise my fashion vision.

After four years of studies ESMOD and STUDIO BERCOT, I furthered my skills as a designer by doing internships for Martin Sitbon, Christian Dior, and Yohji Yamamoto. The combination of my academy background in architecture, my hands - on experience as a pharmacist in a traditional Taiwanese context and my Paris experience gave me a very individual aesthetic.

In 1994, I established my brand‘ Yen Lin Hsu’ in Taipei. My business and my designs have been growing and developing organically and symbiotically .

Zen, another distinctive flavour to much of my work. The essence of my work is the marriage of beautiful form and practical function.

A trip to India in 2003 radically altered my colour palette. I have torn up the rule book and ignored the boundaries. When it comes to choices of colours and textiles, everything is possible.

It isn’t enough for me just to be a successful business woman, and a respected artist and design, I want, above all, to be a successful human being, and most important is that my work and spirit, it embodies the positive, the beautiful and the good.


聽到布在心跳的女人—許艷玲

藝術之所以獨特，是因為動人的創作能修補，
甚至激盪人們沈睡已久的感知。
而藝術家則是具有深遠且細微洞察力的個體，
他的眼是所有人的眼，而眼底下的宇宙來自於彎腰拾穗的婦人
、少女驚恐的眼神、愛人熟睡的臉龐以及每方寸的土粒中……
這些無遠弗界的情感，同時也深深影響著身為設計師的我，
創作，不正是我們反射生命的總和嗎？已經說過不只一次，
服裝，是我的生命。而在這謙卑的生命版圖中，
劃過飛鳥的起航，眾生諧唱的寧靜，
吟頌著流放行者的詩篇…感激自己的感情透過設計的舒展。
每塊布料就像是一畝良田，我謹慎的將種子灑下。

因為布，我找到了更真實的心跳。 
因為布，這脈搏有了更鏗鏘的延伸。
